70s Cover Band in Mint Hill, NC – June 26, 2026

Friday nights at Stooges Pub & Grub have a way of turning into something you talk about for weeks, and this one is shaping up to be a standout. On June 26th, 70s Kids are bringing their full-throttle tribute to the decade that gave us disco floors, rock radio, and some of the most recognizable songs ever recorded.

If you have been looking for a reason to get out to Mint Hill on a Friday night, this is it. The show starts at 9pm, and if past live music nights at Stooges are any indication, the room fills up fast. Come ready to move, sing along, and dig into the kind of music that still sounds just as good today as it did fifty years ago.

About 70s Kids

70s Kids are a six-piece dance band on a mission to bring the full 1970s experience back to life. Their live show goes well beyond just playing the songs: expect costumes, props, and visual staging that put the whole room in a different era from the moment they hit the stage.

The band covers disco, pop, rock, and yacht rock, drawing from an impressive roster that includes Donna Summer, the Bee Gees, Hall & Oates, Kool & The Gang, Fleetwood Mac, Captain & Tennille, and the Commodores, among many others. Shannon Remley handles lead vocals and dance, Ray Hartsfield brings lead vocals and guitar, GK VIA plays lead guitar, Rob Bowser covers synths and keyboards, Doug Grabowski holds things down on bass guitar, and Mike Graci drives it all on drums and electronic sounds. The band also actively draws the crowd in, making participation part of the experience. They perform nationwide at festivals, events, and private parties.

What You Will Hear

Expect the kind of night where you might hear “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees sitting right next to “Hot Stuff” by Donna Summer, or “Le Freak” by Chic flowing straight into “Get Down on It” by Kool & The Gang. The set pulls from all corners of the decade: the disco floors, the rock stations, the smooth yacht rock grooves. You might also catch “Dancing Queen,” “Good Times,” “September,” “I Will Survive,” “Brick House,” or “Play That Funky Music” before the night is through. It is a set built to keep people on their feet.
